![]() ![]() Bootit indicates the boot sector does not support its location on the hard drive. ![]() The 1st problem I have is with the Ventoy entry that shows up in the Bootit menu which won't boot. My HW setup is all MBR and I use BootitBM to boot several other partitions. It works with a few glitches that someone may have already resolved. I just started playing with Ventoy and made a default install testing with a BootitBM install iso. I have had this computer about 10 years and only recently has this started. I have no problem with single bootable cd's. What I was doing is holding the shift key down after I chose legacy ventoy as my boot option.I tried timing it several different ways to no avail. I thought I was onto something but it must have been pure luck becuse now it fails. I tried the same workaround with ventoy as with easy2boot and it worked about 20 times in a row. I should mention that both boot fine in EUFI mode. I could then use ventoy inside easy2boot but I want ventoy to work properly when it is on its own usb stick. I was having problems the same with easy2boot as well but easy2boot has a workaround of hitting the shift key when you see the first blue easy2boot screen. It might work 3 times in a row and then fail ten times in a row. What happens is after I choose my boot option when the keyboard is working, I then get to the ventoy menu and the keyboard does not work. I have tried several keyboards wired and not with the same effect. I am having problems with a usb keyboard as far as booting ventoy in legacy mode. ![]()
